Truboy BBQ is exceptional! I finally visited their new location just outside Houston in Missouri City, and it lived up to the hype. I orderedhad the brisket sandwich and the tallow fries, and both were absolutely superb—the brisket was incredibly moist and the fries had that rich, old-school flavor you can't get anywhere else. What also sets them apart is the experience. The branding in the store is exceptional, and it’s a beautiful restaurant to sit in. Beyond the fresh food, they have a massive selection of merchandise, accessories, rubs, and even a freezer wall stocked with frozen meats to take home. Knowing they ship all over North America is a huge plus for sending gifts. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic, high-quality Texas BBQ

I came here with my mom and dad and we loved it! We tried the pulled chicken sandwich and the brisket bowl, both were delicious and full of flavor. The potato salad was super good too. They have so many different options to choose from, and you can even buy your own meat and all kinds of snacks. The owner was super nice and made us feel really welcome. You can tell they really care about the food and the customers, and you can tell he is passionate about what he does. The place has a great vibe and tons of variety. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Houston. If not i’d say it’s worth the drive

If you're looking for a spot that serves up some seriously delicious Halal Texas brisket, you've got to check this place out! The vibe is super laid-back, and right when you walk in, the owner greets you with a warm smile that makes you feel like family. Now, let’s talk about the brisket. Oh my goodness, it’s out of this world! They smoke it for a whopping 18 hours, and you can totally taste the love and patience that goes into it. Each bite is so tender and packed with flavor—it practically melts in your mouth. The seasoning is just right, enhancing the rich taste of the meat without taking away from it. But that’s not all! They also have a fantastic selection of frozen meals you can grab and take home, which is perfect for those nights when you want something delicious without the hassle. Plus, their variety of sauces and honey is incredible—definitely worth trying out. We even snagged a T-shirt as a souvenir to remember our amazing experience. Honestly, we wish they had one of these gems in California because it’s quickly become one of our favorite places to eat. If you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by—you won’t be disappointed!
