I’m originally from Philly and have been living in Georgia for the past 10 years, but let me tell you — Triple J’s Smokehouse just became one of my top BBQ experiences, hands down. My husband and I were in Houston for a quick weekend, and this spot did not disappoint. Parking is a little tight, but once we got inside, everything moved fast. We weren’t in line for even 15 minutes. The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the whole vibe felt like true Houston hospitality. Now the food? A1. The potato was phenomenal, the ribs were so tender they practically fell apart, the sausage was seasoned perfectly — honestly, everything was delicious. And yes, we topped it off with dessert because how could we not? Portions are huge; this ended up being our only meal for the entire day. You can definitely share, but you’ll want to savor every bite. Highly recommend. If you’re in Houston, don’t miss Triple J’s.

The food.. listen was was fire 🔥& worth the hike to the North Side. I ordered the ribs, sausage, baked beans, potato salad, peach cobbler & I would definitely go back. I didn’t care for the sweet tea, it tasted like kool-aid (I prefer brewed) but o/than that 9/10. The service was good, they were super busy however, they stayed composed. This was my first time & even though they were busy they still showed patience & gave recommendations. I appreciate that. The line was out of the door! I went around 4P.M not sure if it’s like that daily.
