Tony's BBQ & Steakhouse

I have nothing good to say about the food here. I got a 3 meat plate. It wasn't hot but definitely bland. Ribs were so thin, brisket was dry, but the sausage was ok. Bbq sauce had a sour taste to it. The rice was supposed to be dirty rice but more like wild rice. Potato salad was ok. Couldn't stomach to eat it all and didn't dare give the peach cobbler a try. 4 stars for service only because the cashier was so helpful and nice. From what I saw, the restaurant was very clean. I would not recommend based on the taste of what I ordered.

While traveling through Houston, we ordered from Tony's via DoorDash. My wife's brisket and my ribs were both cooked to perfection. The BBQ sauce, though a bit thin, was quite flavorful. The coleslaw offered a pleasant sweetness without being excessive, and the potato salad was consistently good. The fried okra, in particular, was outstanding. Tony's successfully delivered the authentic taste of Texas we were seeking.

Food: It saddens me to say that I am truly disappointed with the food at Tony’s. I hadn’t been in quite awhile and the food is nothing like it was before. Everything I order was bland (tasteless). I couldn’t taste salt or pepper. I don’t know what happened to the quality of the food but, it’s disappointing. Service: Everyone was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere: Clean inside and out. Family like environment.
