The Pit BBQ

I did not realize this was a gas station when I selected it to meet someone for lunch. It was very clean and the smell was great when we walked in. The food looked good, unfortunately it is not the best barbecue. I got the 2 meat plate with brisket, sausage, Mac and cheese and beans. The beans were made well and had some decent flavor. The sausage had a good flavor, but it was a little dry. The brisket was like a pot roast, flavorless and chewy. The mac and cheese had very little flavor even though it looked really good. I will say it was better than I expected upon arrival. You could definitely find worse barbecue in Porter. The one thing that was top notch was the employees. They were very friendly and their service was great! I

We come from a cooking family and it gets our stamp of approval! I've come in here a few times and have brought some friends and family in. Every one of them has enjoyed the food and we've always had a great experience. The staff is always very friendly and I enjoy our conversations. They go beyond to make sure you're happy. They're even running new meal deals now throughout the week which is really awesome!

This is REAL SMOKED BBQ not the stuff the other folks put into the oven! 10/10 highly recommended, Clean atmosphere Friendly staff REASONABLY PRICED PLENTY OF FOOD THIS POTATO CAN FEED TWO PEOPLE ! So happy I visited
