TEXAS COUNTRY BBQ

One of the best bbq spots in San Antonio!!! The loaded baked potato with brisket is one of my favorites! The brisket is always so tender and flavorful! The potatoes they use are also HUGE and sooo yummy! The portions are amazing especially for the price. Everything is made super fresh and the entire place is so clean and cozy.

Excellent service and everyone was super friendly! Great prices! Brisket was tasty but! The ribs looked good but somehow lacked flavor. They did throw in a piece of turkey but it was too dry. The bbq sauce was good. Macaroni was peppery and yummy! Star of the show was the sweet potato casserole but that was just a nice bonus. I came for the brisket.,

Posted 2 pictures of 2 separate dates that my family and I decided to eat from here and both times we got the Family pack for 4. First time we ate there at the spot as you can tell portions were nice, lots of meat of all 4 choices. But the second time we got it to-go. We didn't open the plates til we got home cause this was before the Super bowl started. What we got was disappointing, portions looked for only 2 people. I don't know if there's a difference from eating there and/or taking out but for $68.99+tax? The food and service was great both times but for the second time going and that's what we got in food portions?
