I was searching for great-tasting Texas smoked barbecue "near me," and I wasn't disappointed!!! Do not sleep on Smokin' Z's BBQ & Kraft Chicken! The taste is uncommonly great! You don't need sauce. And the meat is tender enough for a toothless baby to enjoy. I wanted to order the pork ribs, but they were sold out shortly after Noon. That's impressive. After tasting the brisket, I see why the ribs were gone too soon. For the inconvenience, the cashier offered a free side. I wasn't disappointed. Order the Mac and cheese. You'll be glad you did! It's made with a delicate blend white cheddar and other white cheeses.

The food is amazing!! Highly recommend the Pork Belly BLT or if you're there on the weekend, grab you some juicy, tender, smoked sliced brisket. Hands down, beats most of the surrounding restaurants. The ONLY reason why the atmosphere is 4 stars, is because it's inside of the EZ Mart! If they operated as a restaurant (brick & mortar) or a food truck, they'd easily beat out others in the area!! The rest...5 stars only because I can't go any higher!
