Simple interior, modest decoration. Friendly service. Table service for dine-in. Soda machine for drink refills. Food was decent. The brisket was a little dry. The ribs were a bit undercooked. The sandwiches were excellent. It's nice to have the condiment station with the pickles, carrots, jalapenos, salsa, lemons and limes. The sides were tasty; creamy macaroni and cheese, potato salad had mustard and mayonnaise, green beans had ham bits, creamed corn and cole slaw were all very good. The banana pudding was real good. Beer and bottled sodas, including Mexican Coke, are available. I give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Flavor: A Service: A Tea: A Solo dining: A I was a little skeptical trying out this San Antonio area chain. But it did not disappoint. I got the Sloppy Mo’s sandwich and it was meaty and saucy just how I like a chopped brisket sandwich. The brisket and sauce had good flavor with a tiny bit of kick. (Trust me… it’s just the right amount of kick… I couldn’t do it if it was super spicy.) The creamed corn was the perfect side - slightly sweet and very tasty. The portions of both the sandwich and the side were small. It looked like I got the child’s plate. But I only spent $13 for a sandwich, side, and a drink. And at a BBQ joint that’s practically free. Hats off to Mo and his great Sunday evening supper… I’ll be back!

The cashier, Kennedy was the best. She was very sweet & patient with my daughters. I got the brisket sandwich lunch special with creamed corn & it was delicious.
