TL/DR: The BEST BBQ chicken in Jacksonville. Pink truck, family-owned, absolutely worth it. Get there early because they sell out! — It’s off University Blvd, look for the pink truck and the smoker. Hands down, they have the BEST smoked BBQ chicken I have tried in Jax. You can fight me on that, but if you haven’t tried their food yet, I’m not listening to you. 😆 The fact that it’s family owned and operated makes it even better. The husband and wife who run it are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. They’ve been serving up mouthwatering BBQ for over 20 years, and it shows in every bite. They also offer catering orders for large parties. I love supporting local, family-owned businesses, and this is one you NEED to add to your list. A word of advice: they do sell out — so if you have your heart set on something specific, plan to get there early. If you're in the area, I highly recommend you check them out! ❤️

I just want to say I enjoyed everything about Smoke City BBQ! As soon as we pulled in the energy was very pleasant and welcoming. My family and I got the large family meal and served us just right. The ribs were fall off the bone. The Mac and cheese was so cheesy and tasty. And the COLLARD GREENS were the best! We sat in the picnic area, and owners turned some nice music on and it really set the vibe. 10/10 recommend!
