Stopped and was deliciously impressed. The spot is clean and inviting with comfortable red booths and TVs to catch the news. You can tell they take pride in their craft; the menu proudly states meats are smoked for 15 hours! I tried the brisket and it didn’t disappoint. The meat was tender and flavorful. They have all the classics like brisket, ribs, and hotlinks, plus peach cobbler for dessert. Definitely my new go-to BBQ joint for lunch.

As a Laveen local it pains me to leave this review. I ate here last year and it was good but this time was BAD. If you look at the picture of the brisket you can tell something is not right about it. Color is way off, there’s no smoke ring, there’s no bark. Believe it or not this is the “fatty brisket”. It had 0 flavor, even the tiny strip of fat had no flavor. The lamb had good seasoning and flavor but was dry. Sides were good. Sadly I don’t know if I’ll ever be back. Maybe other stuff is good but don’t waste your time or money on the brisket.

My date and I had the pulled pork sandwiches with cole slaw and corn bread as sides. Sandwich was heaped a inch thick of tasty pulled pork, bbq sauce was at table and was tasty. Coleslaw was yummy and corn bread was sweet and delicious. YEA! We have BBQ in Laveen once again.
