I was in Dallas for a conference and whenever I go to Texas, always look for barbecue. I asked the people at the desk of the hotel but they haven’t heard about slow bones. They said no but I decided to try it anyway I’m so glad I did. The food was so very tasteful. I had barbecue chicken squash casserole the whipped sweet potatoes. If it dessert I had the cornbread bread pudding I highly recommend anyone who’s in Dallas to try this place. You won’t regret it.

Took a walk down to SLOW BONE Texas BBQ place……all I can say is …..yumm The place has a lot of parking and is conveniently location on the junction of Wycliff and Irving. There’s parking all around the location which just goes to show the popularity of the place which speaks directly to the quality of the food produced. So it’s predominantly Texas BBQ straight up or in burgers or a sandwich, they offer a variety of sides to go with it. The staff are pretty experienced and took orders politely and got them right the first time. This is a pleasant surprise given that for some restaurants you always have to repeat yourself. We moved through the line fairly quickly and in 5minutes we had gotten our order and moved to a table. The food, pork ribs brisket, was juicy and not dry. All their meat was “fall of the bone”. It’s something that needs to be experienced. The beans were succulent and sweet. The cornbread was out of this world. The juice to go with your meal just hit the spot. The rustic ambience of the place was welcoming and friendly. They also sell their rubs in case you’re wanting to do some meat smoking BBQ at home. All in all it was a nice experience, excellent service, tasty food, wonderful drinks and just overall deserved a four star rating. They’re open from 11am to 3pm so get in early and get your smoky juices satisfied. Recommended for a bite with family or friends. Pure bliss if BBQ is your thing. “SLOW BONE” a must experience in Fort Worth Texas. Let’s get it……

This was some of the best BBQ I had in Texas. Incredible stuff here. I got a monster sized beef rib which was pricey but definitely worth it. My friends got the brisket, and pork ribs and it looked amazing as well. Great sauces. Also the sides they have here are so unique, I got Brussels sprouts aug rotten and squash. The Mac and cheese looked incredible. Really fast service, and this place is a gem in Dallas.
