Congratulations to @chef_cameron_capri on opening the new brick-and-mortar Q Southern BBQ #2! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. The young lady at the counter—with the “T” necklace—was incredible. She explained the ordering process, timing, and all the small-but-important details that make the whole experience smooth. Friendly, patient, and genuinely welcoming. Now the food: the brisket is unreal. Perfectly seasoned so you actually taste the meat, tender enough that Trent called it “like buttah—no chewing needed.” The greens, mac, coleslaw, and all the sauces were spot-on. And honestly, the brisket price feels like a steal considering the quality. We got there later in the day so ribs, wings and other favorites were sold out so of course we must go back. The outside feels tucked away from everything, and the inside feels instantly cozy—like a place you’ve been coming to for years. The flow makes sense, the smell pulls you in, and the whole setup is just smart. A+ branding, A+ service, and A+ food. Congrats again to @qsouthernbbq P.S. Catering available.

My dad and I stopped in here on a whim for a quick bite to eat and were not disappointed! He ordered a brisket sandwich and I got the burnt ends. Both were amazing. The food is prepared fresh every day which you can taste. Sauces were 10/10. Must try the Tampa Q (espresso bbq). Nothing bad to say other than it’s too far from where I live but happy to hear they’re opening a second location! If you’re in the mood for BBQ, you need to go here! Met one of the partners and he was so friendly. We love supporting locals and small businesses and will definitely be back.

This place is ok. Service and atmosphere is what I expected so it's all good. However, I had better bbq elsewhere. I had brisket and ribs with mac & cheese, slaw, and tots. Mac & cheese was a bit too rich for me but the texture and creaminess was excellent. The slaw was probably the best thing out of the whole meal. I am very picky about slaw and this slaw was so good I ate it by itself. Very happy the slaw was not that soggy mayo cr*p you get everywhere else. The brisket and ribs were very dry, especially the brisket. The ribs were edible on their own and did come off the bone when pulled off but not nearly as moist and fall off the bone as other bbq places I've tried. The brisket was so dry I had to eat the slaw with it since I couldn't have swallowed it without any moisture. The seasoning on it is too coarse for me, as I would get slaps of large black pepper pieces in my mouth and the seasoning lingered in my mouth long after the meat was gone. The tots were actually excellent. The only thing I didn't like about the tots was the slight sweet taste from the sugar in the tot seasoning since I am not a fan of sweet potatoes, but I can see how other people might like that. Tots were great.
