The BBQ spot I visited recently turned out to be a really solid experience overall. The place had a relaxed, welcoming vibe with that classic smoky aroma you expect as soon as you walk in. It wasn’t overly fancy, just simple and comfortable, which honestly felt perfect for a casual meal. I ordered a brisket plate with mac and cheese and baked beans. The brisket was the highlight—tender, juicy, and had a nice smoky flavor without being overwhelming. It had a good bark on the outside and didn’t need much sauce, which is always a good sign. The mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful, and the baked beans had a slightly sweet, smoky taste that paired well with the meat. The service was friendly and quick, and the portions were generous for the price. While it wasn’t the absolute best BBQ I’ve ever had, it was definitely satisfying and somewhere I’d happily go back to when I’m craving good, reliable barbecue.

The brisket was super moist and flavorful, the ribs were perfectly fall-off-the-bone, and the baked beans and green beans were my favorite sides. We loved the cozy, local vibe, and the staff was so kind and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!

Y’all, Porky Js is AMAZING. The oxtail is unbelievably tender and packed with flavor. This catfish is off the charts. I mean you wouldn’t expect a bbq place to have such great quality catfish.You truly pay for what you get which is quality, care, and food done right. I Highly recommend. This family is so kind which made the customer service 10/10 and of course the food 10/10. I will be back here.
