Old Hickory Inn Barbecue

I ordered from the S. Braeswood location for curbside pickup. When I got there, the parking lot was full by the to-go order door. We called several times. calls went to voice mail. We decided to just go inside and get our order. After we got in the car, there were no eating utensils, no sides i.e., pickles, onions, no bbq sauce. I went inside to ask the cashier about it but she stayed on the phone and didn’t acknowledge me standing there for awhile, so I walked over to the inside pickup to ask another lady for the items and she gave them to me. Upon leaving the cashier that had been on the phone screamed out to her to let me go to the bar( to prepare the side items myself). I asked her why and she said for curbside orders you have to come inside and prepare your own onion, pickles,… etc to go. That makes no sense, if I’m ordering curbside and paid just as much money as a person that dines in, why do I have to get my order at my car, turn my motor off then go inside to prepare any additions. She was very very rude. I’ve been going to your location for over 15yrs and won’t be going again if that’s how customers are treated. I told her I wasn’t coming back and she said ‘fine I don’t care!’. Lost me and my families business just like that.

Came with my son and husband. Loved how it smelled the second I came in! That bbq smell!! The music, the ambience. The service was great and the food was top notch! Will be returning and telling all my family and friends. Also they have home made pies, and cater!
