Meal: Lunch Day Visited: Saturday Budget: $25 Closest Station: NOMA Reservation Needed?: N/A Payment: Cash; Credit Kid Friendly?: Yes English Menu?: Yes Decent brisket and spare ribs. We did not care for the Mac and Cheese, but the quality of the brioche sandwich bun made up for that. Nice to sit outside and enjoy barbecue!

Lunch Combo for $22: Pulled Pork Sami: Delicious and tender. The bbq sauces were good too. Best item for my lunch combo. Chesapeake Potato Salad: Interesting idea, but not for me. I LOVE old bay, but this was a mediocre potato salad with a whisper of old bay. I’ll grab the mac and cheese next time. Sweet Tea: Refreshing yet not too sweet. I’m used to country sweet tea and was expecting a sugar overload, but this sweet tea wasn’t overly sweet.

    * In the pictures, I combined all of my food because that's how I like to eat it LOL. But when you receive the order, the sides do come in separate cartons. I dined here for the first time visiting Union station and I am thoroughly impressed! When I come up North to visit, I usually have a rough time finding a good food spot that's closest to the southern food that I like. I must say that I was very impressed with this restaurant. The man that took my order was truly the sweetest person and was amazing! He was very accommodating to my order request and just had the utmost best customer service. I ordered The two meat special but chose double chicken because I don't eat beef or pork. For the sides I ordered the mac and cheese, the bourbon beans, and it came with cornbread. The food was out of this world! I chose the Kansas City BBQ sauce and I believe the Texas barbecue sauce. It went perfectly with the chicken. It also came with coleslaw which was really good, especially since I usually don't eat coleslaw. All of the good tasted good but my favorite item was the beans! I've never had beans that had peach in it and tasted so good. I wanted the recipe to this! I believe I received a great portion size for the amount of money that I paid. The wait time isn't too long either. I would highly recommend trying this place If you're looking for the closest thing to some real Southern BBQ!
