This was hands down the best smoked meat experience I’ve ever had. We arrived early, around 9 am, and the line stretched for what felt like ages — maybe around a hundred people ahead of us. Our food finally arrived around 1 pm, and every single minute of waiting was worth it. While waiting, it was fun to chat with others in line and meet some friendly folks, including Jon G, who was very welcoming. The standout dishes for us were the hearty ribs and tender smoked meat — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The team offered free drinks, including beer and water, which made the wait much easier. For anyone craving top-notch smoked meat, this place is an absolute must-visit.

A true hole-in-the-wall treasure. Now I want to be clear my wife and I spent well over 100 dollars for lunch but we intentionally ordered 4 meats, 5 sides, a dessert, a Cheerwine kolache and a quart of the Brunswick Stew (to go). The line took an hour to get through but it was a sunny warm day in February, so not a big deal to us. Even though it is billed as a Texas style BBQ I found the meat to have a half in smoke ring but not overly smoky. The bacon burnt ends are a must, as well as the Smoked turkey breast. Was almost a 2 hour ride each way for us to get there but well worth the trip. Hours are only Saturday, starting at 0930 they serve a breakfast then move onto lunch until sold out, usually before 1800.

This is the ultimate barbecue experience in the area. Do yourself a favor and get your lawn chair, pack up a cooler, and get out there early Saturday morning for some of the best damn barbecue you'll ever have. The variety is unbelievable and everything is top notch. I never thought I would go crazy for dirt pudding but I can't check these guys out without getting some for myself and others. The brisket is so juicy and their beef ribs are unlike anything I've ever had. And if you get there early and you're lucky enough to get some breakfast, you will not be disappointed.
