Browns BBQ Shack

The pictures are not the best as they were taken an hour or so after getting the food once I got home running errands. But man was it good. I got the smoked potato with brisket. I was surprised at just how much food came in the the one order. So surprised, I literally weighed it and it weighed 4 pounds and fed 4 of us. Not only was it equal ratio of potato and brisket...it had amazing bbq flavor and I could not believe there was no salt! This was a very appealing aspect of the food due to having a medical condition that requires a low salt diet. Also as a disabled vet, I could appreciate not only the menu item names (Yea I'm talking about you Crayon Eater) but the owner/chef as well for his own military service. So if you're in The Woodlands/Spring bordering area and are looking for some good bbq....make sure you check out Veteran owned and operated Brown's BBQ Shack.

Absolutely a hidden gem! I grew up in Austin and can never find good bbq that compares to there. But this place is it! Definitely the best bbq I’ve ever had. Very well seasoned. No salt no sugar bbq joint. Safe for diabetic individuals. Was able to talk to the owner for a while. And his energy is amazing. He told us all about what he makes and what goes into it. Definitely give this place a visit! You won’t be disappointed

This business needs more recognition for the love that goes into the food. Personally the owner is a stellar dude! I ordered 3 brisket sandwiches smoked green beans, potato salad, & his own remix of coleslaw. It was all DELICIOUS!!! I definitely will be coming back & putting people on with how incredible the food is! Even though I took my food to-go, entering the restaurant it was clean! He had a vibe going with the music. Like I said definitely will be returning
